Courageous Kids Climbing works in gyms across the western US to provide climbing opportunities for kids with special needs.
This is a FREE event for anyone with special needs – physical or intellectual, or visually challenged / blind, hearing impaired / deaf, cancer or burn survivors and wounded warriors – and all weighing under 300 pounds. Participants are not forced to climb and are more than welcome to just come hang out with us in an all-inclusive environment!
Courageous Kids Climbing travels around with a ton of adaptive equipment that helps anyone up our climbing walls, they reach out to local first responders and give them an opportunity to receive in person experience working with kids of all backgrounds and do their best to provide them with any resources they need to facilitate fun events.
I have attached a registration packet for participants. Please complete the Courageous Kids Climbing forms in the attached registration packet and return the forms to me to reserve a spot. There is also a photo of the event flyer attached that you can post on your Facebook page or print out and hang in a business’s window or share with other interested families.
We are also looking for volunteers. Please email if you are interested in volunteering. We also need one or two non-climbing volunteers to help with check-in and other duties.
If you are interested in sponsoring this event, email for more information. We are always looking for sponsors!
