- 4:15 pm – 4:30 pm Rules
- 4:30pm – Race begins!
Groups of 10 racers at a time staggered every 5-10 minutes
At the starting line, the emcee will break down the rules and overview of the Tour de V2s.
Climbers may check-in whenever they like, but they must see a Referee to record their starting time and end time.
The climbers will give their names, starting times and receive their scorecards and bibs.
There will be numbers associated with each V2 problem – they can be completed in any order.
All routes need to be witnessed by someone to ensure that it was completed. This witness can be anyone close who can see that it was clearly completed and will need to initial the score card. Each climber will get three attempts to complete a route. After three attempts in a row, they will move on to a different problem but can choose to come back to it at a later time.
The climbers will work their way around the gym until all of the routes are climbed as quickly as possible and within the completion cut off time. If you do not finish all 30 in 30, turn in your scorecard anyways!
Once a climber has finished or is out of time, scorecards must be given to the Referee at the finish line in order to receive their finish time.
Once all participants have turned in their scorecard and finish times, Referees will calculate prizes.
Winners will be judged on time and amount of problems accomplished. Bonus points will be given to those in bike attire.
There will also be an additional winner for most spirited
The winner will be announced when the race is complete and the scorecards are tallied. Refreshments will be available.
NO CLIMBING AFTER DRINKING ALCOHOL!!!
